The metal tubing of this easy chair weaves through the entire structure, making Partinico unusually strong while highlighting its distinctive profile.

The tight, rhythmic weave is a simple parallel zigzag (the name of the Sicilian town of Partinico derives from parthenikós, Greek for “virgin” or “pure”), which punctuates the faceted areas of the surfaces, evoking natural wattle mats. During sunny hours, the weaving tubes grace the chair with shadows and luminous transparencies.
