_metal elegance

The name Circeo evokes timeless stories of sorceresses and heroes, alchemy and metamorphoses, spells of illusion and enchantment. The Circeo table’s enchanting array of legs—the result of careful design, belying their apparently random arrangement—is made up of cast aluminum elements connected in an alchemical harmony that, far from chaotic, is fundamental. The composition of these stems or wands creates a surprising impression of the natural world; just as wind and wave divert and recompose the objects with which they interact, so do Circeo’s legs join together in a vibrant play of material transformation and development.

_smooth beautiful

The legs create an image like that of a snapshot, capturing a single frozen movement of the bars’ multifarious transits through space. The effect is enhanced by the traditional, highly skilled modeling of the bars, with the application of a hammered effect in refined bas-reliefs. The individual shaping of the legs is followed by their final treatment in anthracite black, with options available in glossy and matte. Circeo expresses an aesthetic vision that recognizes the beauty of masterfully controlled imperfection. The sensibility of soft roughness—or, perhaps, rough softness—is realized through numerous variations in the dimensions of the table tops and in their shapes, circular or elliptical, accompanied by one, two, or more assemblages of legs.
